Stonebridge was developed around 1990. First came the Stonebridge Golf Club, followed by home building. Stonebridge sits on 712 acres in Pittsfield Township, within Washtenaw County.

Home construction started in 1992 and ended in 2022. During that time 709 homes were built in Stonebridge. Every home belongs to one of the eleven (11) condominium associations. The condominium associations take care of administering their by-laws and enforcing the Stonebridge Community Association (SCA) restrictions and policies. All the condominium associations and the SCA are managed by volunteers who are residents of the community.

Stonebridge is a private community; we own and maintain our common areas – drains, facilities, landscaping and roads. There are 32 different roads in Stonebridge, combined over 9 miles long. Pittsfield Township provides police and fire protection, water, sewer and rubbish collection.

The Stonebridge Golf Club is a privately held business. Stonebridge homeowners have no special ownership or access rights onto the golf course.

The SCA manages maintenance services through our 5 operating committees, which are manned by resident volunteers. Dues collection and contract administration are handled by Select Community Management. Budget setting is handled by the operating committees together with the SCA Treasurer.

The names of the condominium associations and their presidents may be found on page 8 of this newsletter. The names of the SCA Board and operating committees may be found on page 8. This information also appears on the SCA website, stonebridgecommunity.org.
